Fun Ideas for Baby Birthday Photo Invitations

by Emma W.R. on July 8, 2014

The amount of pictures I have on my computer is ridiculous. I can’t help myself when my baby is just so darn cute. I seem to capture every facial expression, movement and yawn. Picking out a picture for his birthday photo invitations is going to be so hard. I have a few ideas of how to make it fun!

Firetruck Kids Photo Party Invitations

I like the thought of a simple picture of his feet, him hiding under a blanket or softly sleeping. If you want to be a little more daring try a not so perfect picture of them with a really funny face, covered in some sort of food or trying a sour food for the first time. Go nuts with the camera and capture that amusing shot.

For the even more daring parents, go with what you love. Dress your baby up in your favorite costume. Try Superman, a Storm trooper or even Harry Potter. How about your baby with a hilarious background or silly clothes and a mustache? Have fun with it! Before you know it they will grow up and you can look back at those silly pictures together.

Some of the best photo shots I have of my 2 kids is with our pets. If you don’t have a pet just visit a relative or friend who has one. I’m sure they won’t mind if Fido gets featured on your little one’s invites. Just be sure the animal likes kids. And of course remember to reward both with a treat after the photo shoot.

My son would love that firefighter card! He goes crazy over trucks. Might have to use that for his upcoming birthday party!

I like using candid shots. Sometimes it is too hard to get kids to sit still and pose, but you can get a great picture without even trying.
