Cherishables Celebrates Christmas with Cards for Children’s Hospitals

by Emma W.R. on December 19, 2014

Christmas, and the entire holiday season, is a time of great joy for children. Being in the hospital during this time can be very difficult for children and their families. That is why Cherishables donated 5,075 holiday cards to various Children’s Hospitals and organizations so that they can enjoy the spirit of the season!

Cherishables sent thousands of adorable holiday cards to children’s hospitals and organizations around the country. This was just a small way for Cherishables to help spread some real holiday cheer in addition to all the great celebrations already planned for the children.

The below hospitals and organizations all received holiday cards from Cherishables:

American Family Children’s Hospital
Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite
Childrens Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital
Children’s Hospital of Georgia
Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh
Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU
Children’s Specialized Hospital
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital
Hannah and Friends
Hasbro Children’s Hospital at Rhode Island Hospital
Hospital for Special Surgery – Pediatric Dept.
LaRabida Children’s Hospital
Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital
Mercy Children’s Hospital St. Louis
ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital
Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital

We hope these cards make lots of children smile this holiday season!

I applaud Cherishables for encouraging sick children during the holiday season. My first job after college was at a major medical center in a big city. I was stationed in the pediatric cancer ward. These families suffer so much on a daily basis and are always in need of comfort. They were always so grateful for every kind gesture both great and small. Keep up the good work!
