Cherishables Celebrates Mother’s Day with Cards for Children’s Hospitals

by Emma W.R. on May 16, 2014

All Moms deserve to be celebrated for the love and care that they give their families, especially the Mothers of hospitalized children. No matter what the reason, having a child in the hospital can be extremely difficult on a family, and Mom always seems to have strength to spare. That is why Cherishables donated 1,950 Mother’s Day cards to various Children’s Hospitals so that Mom would be remembered on her special day!

Cherishables sent hundreds of beautiful Mother’s Day cards to children’s hospitals around the country. These cards were then given to the children so they could write a special note or draw a picture for Mom, and then give her the card on Mother’s Day. This was just a small way for Cherishables to help spread some cheer, and let Mom know how much all of her hard work is appreciated!

The below hospitals all received Mother’s Day cards from Cherishables:

Children’s Hospital Central California
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
Children’s Medical Center Texas
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
Methodist Children’s Hospital
Phoenix Children’s Hospital

We hope these cards helped bring a smile to the faces of the many Moms who truly deserve to be remembered on their special day!

As a mother myself, it breaks my heart to see my kids hurting. I often experience “mommy guilt” where I feel like I didn’t do enough for my children. These cards are a wonderful way to encourage mothers who are probably sacrificing so much in order to bring comfort and hope to their little ones.

Hooray for Cherishables. How thoughtful and generous to have donated almost 2,000 cards to various hospitals so that the children in those hospitals could write or draw a personal message in the card for Mom on Mothers Day.
