Time certainly flies by! Last week it was Halloween and we spent the night handing out candy to almost 80 trick or treaters (It was a banner year for us) after taking out our two little munchkins before it got too dark. Now, if you can believe it, Thanksgiving is almost here. And then, impossibly, Christmas!

I agree completely with your first statement, “Time certainly flies by”. Although I’ m looking forward to Thanksgiving and planning that menu, I am also planning my menu for Christmas and have already purchased many gifts. It is indeed all in the preparation. Fortunately, I always get help from my guests when it comes to “cleaning up” so I am able to enjoy the day to its fullest. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas.

I am hosting my first Thanksgiving this year. When it was first suggested that we have it at our house, I was excited, but as the holiday draws close, I find myself very stressed out over it. These are some great ideas to help me make this a great Thanksgiving. I am going to try some of these decorating tips.
