Top 5 Spring Break Destinations Where We’d Love To Be

by Emma W.R. on March 25, 2014

I don’t know about all of you, but I didn’t take advantage of spring break when I was in college. Oh, if I had only known then what I know now! Many of us here at Cherishables are experiencing what can only be described as Spring Fever, so here are the top 5 Spring Break destinations were we’d love to be!

Cancun Mexico

5. Las Vegas, Nevada – Sure, Cherishables is based in New Jersey, but you just can’t compare Atlantic City to Vegas! From breakfast buffets to lavish casinos to a Vegas show or two, it seems like a safe bet that this would be a fun destination!

4. Poipu Beach, Hawaii – Really, anywhere in Hawaii would be just fine with us, but Poipu Beach is home to the Kauai Surf School, where families can arrange group sessions. If you’re going to learn to catch a wave, why not here?

3. Orlando, Florida – Want a theme park? This is the place! Walt Disney World (we defy you to go to the Magic Kingdom and not leave with a smile on your face) or Universal Studios (check out the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal’s Islands of Adventure) will satisfy young and old alike (I went for the first time at the age of thirty and I had a blast!).

2. South Padre Island, Texas – SPI is what Florida used to be for college spring breakers – beaches, blue water and bars with character. Seaside in Texas, we’d never have suspected!

1. Cancún, Mexico – An affordable go-to spot, who hasn’t daydreamed about heading south for spring break? Parasailing, jet-skiing, it sounds all right to us!

Those are our top 5 Spring Break destinations… what are yours?

These sound like really fun places to go to! I’d also love to do a mini-tour of Europe. It’s definitely something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time.

Forget about spring break, I need a getaway now! While I loved Disney and Universal Studios it’s time for a change. I recommend San Diego, California if you like surfing. I’ve never been to Mexico though an everyone keeps telling me how cheap it is to go.

Of all the places on this list, Hawaii would be my first choice. Never been there – or to the West coast! I don’t know if I’d ever try surfing, but I’d definitely want to check out the beaches.
