Unique Wedding Thank You Card Photo Ideas

You have spent hours comparing seemingly similar fonts with your soon to be husband. Which looks better, Chopin Script or Bickham Script? That doesn’t seem to matter much anymore. The wedding went off without a hitch and was the most amazing day you imagined. Family and friends had a great time and you’re back from the honeymoon all dizzy and elated. Now it’s time to decide what picture captures you both as a couple. It’s back to reality so get ready to send out your wedding thank you cards.

Simply Thank You Photo Wedding Thank You Cards

Some couples may decide to include the whole wedding party in their picture. I like the idea of just the happy duo sharing a moment. You can always go formal with the two looking deeply into each others eyes. Posing with signs that say “thank you” seems to be popular, most in either chalk or spelled across banners. A beach scene with fantastic backgrounds or a stolen sweet kiss snapped from an on looker can be sweet as well.

How about a romantic backdrop of chandeliers and velvet couches? It all depends on what makes you feel special as a pair. What says YOU. If you’re a fan of Star Wars, go for a Storm Trooper brigade with Han and Leia leading the troop. Make it special and make it your own. It is a moment in time that everyone will smile to see. Be sure to share your day and thank all the special people who shared it with you.

We took a photo on our wedding day with every intention of using it for our thank you cards. I had a banner with the words Thank You on it. My photographer took the photo and made cards for us. We of course paid for the extra service but it was one less thing I had to worry about after the wedding.

I’m recently engaged and the thoughts about the wedding keep rushing through my mind. I’ve already put some thought into the thank you cards I’ll send out. This helps!

A unique picture for a thank you card really adds a lot to it. Recipients are definitely more like to keep the card, too.

I have also seen photo wedding thank you cards that were just the bride’s and groom’s hands – one overlapping the other – with their wedding bands on. It was actually stunning – even though they themselves weren’t in the picture, just their hands.

The photo I used for my wedding thank you cards was a beautiful spontaneous picture that my cousin took of me and my husband as we were sitting in the limo after the wedding Mass. We weren’t psomg or anything. As nice as the pictures from the photographer were, the one my cousin took was so perfect for the cards I had to use it.

I love the idea of wedding thank you cards with a picture of just the bride and groom. It’s a keepsake and something that will always remind me of that special day. I always include these pictures in my photo album.
